MEGAN HARRISON

Megan has been a nurse practitioner since 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Mater's of Science in Nursing program at the Mississippi University for Women. She has practiced in many areas including internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, surgery, intensive care, and dermatology. Megan discovered her love of aesthetics while practicing in a dermatology clinic. She opened MegMed Health in 2016 and later founded and opened MedMed Aesthetics to create a safe and accepting place where people of all ages can look and feel like the best version of themselves without looking overdone. Megan has said she is here to show people you can get injections like filler & Botox and still look like themselves, and she is doing just that!
APRIL MILLER
Esthetician
In 2018, April Miller Graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BA in Psychology. Her passion for esthetics began when she was a little girl watching her mom and big sister doing makeup. In high-school, April started to dabble in makeup artistry for friends and family. Then, she went on to study special effects makeup in college where she learned the importance of skin health. After college, she decided to leave her full time job to attend Booneville Academy of Cosmetology to get her license in Esthetics. Starting out doing facials and body-sugaring at a day spa, April quickly realized how much she loved her field and became eager to offer more. Here at MegMed she specializes in facial treatment, lash lifting & tinting, and brow waxing & tinting but is working towards adding services to her menu!
CARLY BOYD
FNP-C
Carly graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2017. She began working with MegMed Health right after graduation. She was born, raised, and currently resides in New Albany with her husband Alan and her daughter, Mary Lonna. Carly discovered her love for nursing at a young age, but has grown a passion for aesthetics since working at MegMed. She finds joy in her work and loves making patients feel like the best versions of themselves. She particularly loves studying and learning new techniques to better her skills and practice.
RHAGEN NELSON
Nurse Practitioner
This North MS native graduated from the University of MS Medical Center in 2016 with a bachelor’s in nursing. In 2019 she graduated from the MS University for Women with a Master’s in nursing and then began practicing as a family nurse practitioner. Rhagen is currently obtaining a post-master’s certification in psychiatric mental health from UMMC and has been certified for injecting since September 2021.
